Billionaires Bill Gates, co-founder Microsoft Corp and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg have pledged $375 million to campaign against global tobacco use. The money will be designated to fund anti-smoking programs in developing countries such as China and India over a four year period. Bloomberg is giving $250 million and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation $125 million.
