    1. It isn’t easy. It’s based entirely on how strong your willpower is. For my dad it was a life threatening reason for quitting; it gave him enough motivation that he quit cold turkey after smoking since he was 10 yrs old; the 40+ yrs he smoked there were many times he tried to quit but always got grouchy and went back to smoking.

If you have an addict’s symptoms from quitting, such as cold chills and weakness and even a cold sweat, then 1 inhale on the smoke and then put it out. Your willpower has to be strong enough not to continue on the whole cig. and taper off that way. I did it, but it was with a hardcore drug, so it’s very effective but the ball’s in your court.

    2. Load up with all the cigarettes in the world! But never, I say NEVER ask for a light!

    3. its not easy.

    4. You can’t stop smoking easily.

    5. Chew gum.Find a new vice..gum is the best one i can think of, since if cupcakes become you’re new vice you’ll probably gain weight lol.But maybe getting into excersize, taking power walks or going to a yoga class. You’ll start to be more aware of your body and the positive effects that quitting is doing for you.

    6. There are various ways, some work for some, others work for the others. My suggestion and answer? Go to the doctor so s/he can help you get what s/he thinks will work for you.

    7. idk, there are a lot of plans out there. not starting is the best way.

    8. Change your attitude and the change will come, stop hanging out with people that smoke, stop drinking and get a new car that you will hate to ruin the smell in. COLD TURKEY!! Those are all good ways!

    9. There’s no such thing as quitting easily, unless you are voluntarily abandoned on a desert island for 6 months to a year.

I can’t really help much because I’m a failed quitter, but I did find nicotine gum and the patches helped take away some of the pain last time I tried. It’s all about positive mental attitude and sticking to your guns, and I think last time my heart wasn’t really in it.
I’m going to give it another go in the New Year.

    10. willpower :)

    11. go cold turkey so withdrawal symptoms are shorter, and stay at a friends house that doesn’t smoke so they make sure u don’t sneak one. also have lots of lollipops, because some ppl miss actually holding the cigarette in their mouth.

    12. i quit smoking after being a pack a day smoker for 4 yrs.

enough will power and yooh can do it

i honestly didnt want to quit buh ive never looked back

i used patches and gum for the first 2 wks

and after that i just put my focus on something else (going gym)

    13. Don’t stop all at once, things like this takes time! Start smoking 1.(if you swallow the smoke stop swallowing when you go on this "smoking diet") Once you get down to smoking 1 for a week, ask your doctor if you can switch to the gum, or patch, which ever one your DOCTOR recommends.(for safety)…. after the gum or patch. Then try to stop all together.

Keep a journal of your thoughts, and feelings everyday to help release the new "peer pressure." REMEMBER TO RESIST THE TEMPTATION!

Hope I helped! We will be here to support you, along with your family and TRUE friends! Good luck! :) THIS IS MY OPINION!!

    14. I just stopped cold turkey. The main thing is to make up your mind first. You have to have strong willpower to be able to do it. Just like NIKE say, JUST DO IT!
